We understand that life with little ones can be unpredictable! To help us maintain consistent therapy schedules and make appointment times available to other families, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice when you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
We’re happy to work with your family to plan ahead for vacations, holidays, extracurricular activities, or other scheduling conflicts whenever possible. When an appointment is cancelled, we encourage families to reschedule so your child can continue receiving consistent support.
When Your Child Is Sick
Your child’s health and the health of our families and therapists are important to us. If your child, you, or another family member is experiencing symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or a new cough, please reach out to reschedule the session.
Your child should be fever-free and/or symptom-free for at least 24 hours before returning to therapy. There will be no cancellation fee for appointments missed due to illness.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows
24+ hours’ notice: No cancellation fee.
Less than 1 hour’s notice: A fee of 50% of the expected session payment will apply.
No-show: A fee of 100% of the expected session payment will apply.
First occurrence: We understand that unexpected situations happen! The first late cancellation or no-show will be considered a courtesy and will not be charged.
Thank you for helping us keep schedules running smoothly and ensuring your child receives the consistent support they need!

The first session is about establishing a connection and building rapport. We’ll spend time getting to know your child through play, conversation, or activities that feel natural to them. We'll also chat with you about your goals, observations, and any questions you have. The focus is on building comfort and understanding, not testing or performance.
